Three Rivers Weekend

Saturday there will be a section 4 trip led by George Hedrick and Steve Vitale. There will also be a Tuckaseegee trip led by Alison Lowry and Mary Beth Kinney. Camping Saturday night is at River Campground, www.rivercampground.com. They have reserved a few sites for us. Sunday we will be paddling Section 3.5.

Spastic Plastic Update!!!

Spastic Plastic Update!!! - From Mary Beth

I spoke to Bob and Lisa of River Right yesterday and was informed they are no longer in possession of their sit on tops and most likely won't have them back by Saturday. I, along with the help of board members, are trying to locate sit on tops to be borrowed for Saturday. If you have a sit on top or large stable boat and are planning to attend the Spastic Plastic, please let me know and thank you in advance.

We are still planning on starting Spastic Plastic at 10am. I will update you all later when I have more information.

Election for AWC Treasurer

At the next club meeting, which is Tuesday, April 6, there will be an election to fill the Treasurer position for the rest of the year.

As my last official duty as Treasurer the other board members have asked me to organize this election. If you are interested in the position, or know someone who is, please nominate them by responding here or by sending me an email -

There will also be nominations accepted before the voting at the meeting.
