Join us for AWC's Spring Three Rivers event.
Three Rivers is held twice a year, in the spring and late summer, and is a two-day event. On Saturday, the fun begins with trips to three/four different rivers, each suited for beginner, intermediate, or advanced paddlers. Afterward, everyone convenes for a feast and overnight camping. Sunday there is an all-skills paddle for everyone.
Please register to the left if you plan on attending Three Rivers Weekend. We need a good head count for each trip and we need to know how much food to get for Saturday's dinner. As always, guest are welcome.
The following are our currently scheduled trips. More trips may be added, so check back here, or follow us on Facebook or Yahoo.
Beginner Trip - Hiawassee. Coordinator
Beginner Plus/Intermediate Trip - Nantahala. Coodinator
Ocoee Beginner/Intermediate Playboating Clinic - This trip is limited to 10 people and reserved for members only. It will be first come, first serve. Coordinator
Advanced Trip - Cheoah. Coordinator
If this is your first trip on the river you've signed up for, please contact the coordinator so we can get a feel for skill levels and find extra coordinators if needed.
Saturday Night Camping and BBQ
After the river, we'll all join up for BBQ at 7pm, followed by campfires and camping. Club will be providing BBQ and chips. Bring a side and some wood for the fire.
Camping will be at Persimmon Creek Campground, located about 12 miles west of Murphy TN.
