CANOE BASICS, OCTOBER 28th, 2001: AWC Canoeists are invited to this one-day clinic on the art of canoeing with Olympians Joe Jacobi & Matt Taylor. It will take place on a Class II section of the Ocoee River in Tennessee and a nearby lake. Jacobi and Taylor will introduce the concept of using "canoe basics" as a means of gaining confidence and excellence in recreational canoeing. This is NOT geared towards racing. Video analysis is part of the clinic. A whole range of skills is encouraged to enroll, from advanced to beginner. The clinic runs for an entire day, with lunch included. $175.
